Faculty from the department delivered lectures on diverse topics including the fun of physics in daily life, nanoworld, biophysics, astrophysics and quantum physics. Lab tours were arranged for students to be exposed to the state-of-the-art physics research at the department. Live physics demonstrations on topics ranging from Rutherford scattering, fluid dynamics to electromagnetism and poster sessions on various physics investigations engaged students up close with physics.
