Current Research
- Marco Tomamichel is a Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), holds a courtesy joint appointment with the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science at the National University of Singapore and is a Principal Investigator at the Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT) in Singapore. His research interests lie in the intersection of cryptography, information theory and quantum mechanics. He cares deeply about the mathematical foundations of quantum information theory, for example the study of information measures, and about its applications to cryptography and communication in a world where quantum computers are emerging.
