Provost’s Chair

• Prof Chen Wei: Prof Chen is a leading researcher in the application of two-dimensional (2D) materials for catalysis, with work strongly aligned to decarbonisation priorities. He has published extensively as lead author in top chemistry journals, been recognised multiple times as a Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher, and secured numerous competitive grants and prestigious awards including the NRF Investigatorship (2023).

• Prof Gong Jiangbin: Prof Gong is a leading scientist specialising in quantum dynamical control, nonequilibrium topological matter, and quantum simulation. He has an outstanding research record, including 29 publications in Physical Review Letters, one of the leading journals in physics, and has made significant contributions to advancing the understanding and control of complex quantum systems.

Dean’s Chair

• A/Prof Lee Ching Hua: A/Prof Lee’s research focuses on theoretical condensed matter physics. He has published extensively in Physical Review Letters, one of the leading journals in physics, including many papers where he served as senior corresponding author. In recognition of his research achievements, he received the ARC Sciences Award – Institute of Physics Singapore (IPS) Nanotechnology Physics Medal and Prize in 2023.

The appointment term is effective from 1 July 2026 for a period of three years.
