Background:

The department has a safety manual (1999) and is under revision. This website is conceived to provide you with a convenient access to useful safety information, including NUS safety policies, standard operating procedures, guidelines, rules and regulations.

Aim:

It is hoped that you will find this website useful.

Together we shall fulfill the department safety policy and safeguard the well-being of our staff, students, visitors, facilities and the environment by complying with all necessary safety recommendations. All activities in the department shall be carried out according to the principles of safety, health and environment protection.
