We encourage prospective postgraduate (Master, PhD) students to join us in our research. Candidates are expected to have a university training in physics, chemistry, or molecular biology. Scholarships are available. We also offer Undergraduate Research Opportunity Projects (UROPS) and projects for final year honors students. New research will be directed towards, e.g., DNA physics in nanofluidic devices, control of transport of DNA by topology controlling enzymes, and the effect of macromolecular crowding on the conformation of DNA. If you want to discuss a project, please contact us. Information and application forms can be downloaded from the website of the Department of Physics and SMART BioSyM.
