Welcome to the home page of ICCP9
The 9th International Conference on Computational Physics
will take place from 7 to 11 January 2015
in the National University of Singapore!

Announcements:

6 February 2015 (Report on ICCP9)
ICCP9 was completed successfully. The organizers would like to thank all participants for attending the conference, as well as their support and contributions to the conference. You can find more information about the conference in the Report.

2 January 2015 (List of Keynote Speakers)
In addition to outstanding plenary speakers, we have 59 keynote speakers giving talks in various mini-symposia. In addition to their own work, they may give overviews of research progresses in the concerned areas/topics. To help you to locate these talks, we prepared a List of Keynote Speakers. Hope you will find it useful.

30 December 2014 (Symposium Programmes)
Technical programmes of all mini-symposia are now available under Programme.

1 December 2014
ICCP9 consists of more than 40 mini-symposia and some of them are closely related. With a single registration fee, participants are allowed to attend any sessions/symposia of their interest. As a matter of fact, all participants are strongly encouraged to attend the entire conference, rather than only their own symposium.

30 November 2014 (Closing of online abstract submission)
The online abstract submission system will be closed on 5 December.

29 November 2014 (Poster Session: Change of Date and Outstanding Poster Awards)
The poster session will now be held at
7pm on Thursday, January 8th.  Participants with posters should mount their posters before lunch on that day.  All posters should be A0 size (85 cm by 120 cm), portrait format, and standard mounting materials including poster pins, blue tack, and Velcro tape (male/hook portion) will be provided.   A number of poster awards will be presented to those authors who best demonstrate high-quality research, display strong understanding of the material, and with excellent oral and visual presentation of their work.  All conference participants are encouraged to attend the poster session and to support the presenters. Light meal and drinks will be provided.

17 November 2014 (Abstract Submission)
Due to the fact that some participants were unable to submit their abstracts before the deadline, the online abstract submission system is left open until further notice. Participants who are interested in submitting an abstract can do so through the online system.

14 November 2014 (Poster Boards)
Poster boards of 100 cm width and 170 cm in height will be provided. Authors of poster presentations are advised to prepare their posters in A0 size, portrait format.

1 November 2014 (Programme for Accompanying Person):
We are pleased to offer the following options for accompanying persons.
1) At a small registration fee of SGD150, they can join the conference participants for reception on 6 November, tea/coffee breaks and lunch during the conference dates, and the conference banquet. They will also be provided with a name badge. However, no separate program such as sightseeing tour will be organized for accompanying persons by the conference organizer.
2) If they are only interested in attending the conference banquet, a ticket can be purchased at SGD100 per person.
For catering purpose, we require advanced payment for either option. Please contact us at iccp9@nus.edu.sg.

29 October 2014
Except a very few cases, all authors of contributed oral and poster presentations should have received an acceptance letter of their abstracts. If you have not heard from us about your abstract, please contact the conference chair. It would be helpful if you can provide information such as which mini-symposium your abstract was submitted, when it was submitted, and the file name.

As abstracts for invited talks are accepted by default, no acceptance letter was sent to invited speakers. If you have any question about your abstract, please check with the organisers of your mini-symposium.

24 October 2014
Due to unforeseen difficulties, we have to cancel mini-symposia C9 and C11. Authors who submitted their abstracts to these mini-symposia are advised to either choose an alternative mini-symposium to present their papers or in the poster session. In addition, mini-symposia B15 and B16 will be combined. The combined mini-symposium is B15 Monte-Carlo Simulations. Please contact the conference chair if you have any question. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by these changes.

20 October 2014
There will be no proceedings published for ICCP9. Participants who wish to get their work published are advised to submit their manuscripts to one of the following journals for consideration for publication as regular articles.
1. International Journal of Modern Physics C
2. International Journal of Computational Materials Science and Engineering

7 October 2014
The online registration and fee payment is open. Please register and pay registration fee early. You will enjoy the discount rate if you make payment before 31 October 2014.

1 October 2014
The deadline for abstract submission has been extended to 15 October 2014.
