The Institute of Physics Singapore (IPS) is the leading scientific body for physics in Singapore, with an Elected Council from local institutes, including the National University of Singapore's Physics Department, the Nanyang Technological University's School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences and also the National Institute of Education's Faculty of Natural Sciences and Science Education.

Elected Members comprise practising physicists, scientists and engineers, as well as professional members from the industries, polytechnics, junior colleges and secondary schools. IPS actively welcomes all qualified physics professionals to seek election.
