Krakatau Island, Indonesia
The three vegetated islands (in red) are part of the rim of the volcano of Krakatau which blew itself up in 1883. The volcano used to occupy the entire area bounded by these three islands. A new volcano (Anak Krakatau) is growing in the centre.
