Congratulations to Physics Safety Committee for receiving the NUS Annual Safety & Health Performance Award (ASHPA) in FY 2008/09. The team chaired by A/Prof Johan van der Maarel, Mr Teo Hoon Hwee (Co-chair) and Mr Wu Tong Meng Samuel (Asst Co-Chair) won the 4th consecutive Silver Award ($35,000) in the NUS Safety & Health Award Ceremony on 22 April 2009. The departmental safety committee consistently upholds a very high safety standard in our laboratories and workshop.
