The objective of the group's research effort is to provide fundamental understanding of the properties of magnetic thin films, magnetic clusters, high-temperature superconductors and microelectronic materials using computer modelling and simulation techniques. Various methods are used in our study, including the Car-Parrinello method, ab initio density functional theory, tight binding molecular dynamics method, etc.   Investigators: Prof. C.K.
